Thorn in my Flesh

To keep me from becoming conceited because of these surpassingly great revelations, there was given me a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from … Continue reading

Fix me, Lord

When the ick of life comes, it’s a comfort to know that I have Christ living in me. “Greater is HE that is in me than he that is in the world.” (1st John 4:4b) I thank the Lord everyday … Continue reading

A Patch From My Past/my faith-colored glasses testimony

When I was a kid, I had horrible eyesight. One eye was lazy, my right eye, so I had to wear a patch over my left eye for most of my first grade year. It was black like a pirate … Continue reading

Our little Cinnamon broke her leg last week, and she did it up right. It’s broken in 4 places, can you believe it? My hubby and son spent the evening in the doggy E.R. with her, while my daughters cried … Continue reading

Cloudy Vision

This isn’t pretty to write. Sometimes the Lord makes my pen light, and sometimes he keeps my paper blank while I’m trudgin’ in the rough. And every now and then the Lord has to ask me 3 or 4 times … Continue reading
